Staff
At 345 Preschools, we pride ourselves that we retain hard-working, dedicated and caring staff. We have relatively low staff attrition, and take the welfare of our staff and duty as a local employer seriously, including following the Living Wage Foundation principles.

Qualifications & Training
All of our staff have extensive experience in childcare/early years learning, including obtaining relevant qualifications (or are currently studying for). We support and encourage our staff to continue their professional development, in areas they are interested in pursuing.
Our staff are also expected to take part in mandatory training as required by Ofsted, to help them keep up-to-date on all aspects of childcare (including fire safety, first aid, child protection and specific training around the Early Years Foundation Stage principles). This may mean that the preschools could be closed for training and development inset days, but notice is given in advance.
Key Person
We assign a key person to each child. This means that each member of staff has a group of children for whom they have special responsibilities, including:
To help settle and give children reassurance;
Make them feel safe and well cared for;
Make sure that your child’s needs and interests are being met by the preschool;
Complete records of development and progress as required by Haringey Council;
Work with parents on the child's "profile" which will include collecting information about your child's needs, activities and interest, to identify your child's next stage of progress.
Special Needs
As part of the setting's policy to make sure that its provision meets the needs of each individual child, we take account of any special needs which a child may have.
The preschool works to the requirements of the 1993 Education Act and The Special Educational Needs Code of Practice (2000). Each of our settings has a Special Educational Needs Coordinator.
