About Us

We were first established in Church Crescent back in 1967 as a playgroup run by parents in response to the lack of nursery places in the area. 

Although we now operate in two locations, Springfield (SF) and Pages Lane (PL), we still retain this community-based, parent-run ethos.

We are a not for profit charitable organisation. 

• To provide high quality care and education for pre-school children.

• To work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop.

• To add to the life and well-being of its local community.

• To offer children and their parents a service which promotes equality and values diversity.

Parents are regarded as members of our charity who have full participatory rights, which include the right to be:

• valued and respected,

• kept informed,

• consulted,

• involved,

• included at all levels.

Parents are actively encouraged to contribute and support the preschools through our fundraising and volunteering efforts.
